The Columbus gig for Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp was a riot!!!

I got there just-in-time to record Mark and "his group!"  (Thanks for the permit Larry) They did a pretty darn good job of "Some Kinda Wonderful" Ofcourse Mark did background vocals...so, cool.  I noticed the drummer took direction very well.....

Mark's group didn't win though.  I was hoping they would so we would get an encore between Journey and Def Leppard.......But, I did talk to a lady from VH1, the father/daughter team from the winning band and  a guy(from NY) from one of the other bands and, all agreed what a nice guy Mark Farner is.......ahhhh, but you guys knew that.

Man!  That must ROCK-so-HARD to be with all those stars all the dang day!  Oh yeah, and the VH1 cameras shot all angles....But the VH1 lady didn't have a date for the BB King/NY show that is "supposed" to air this month.  I did however, ask her for advice on how to crack the Clear Channel barrier to get the CD played!!!

Man!  The counselors jam was unbelievable!!!  That I taped.  Mark wasn't there.  Lesia said they started at 7:30 that morning and this was about 5:30 at night. I hope they enjoyed that as much as the "campers" did....those lucky people were Lit up with excitment!!!
